Sunrise and Fog

Hot days and cooler nights can create the atmospheric condition--FOG. Images containing fog add an element of mystique, mystery and intrigue. Capturing those foggy mornings  means getting up early. If you are not an early riser and don't want to give up those last few minutes of sleep, then watch the local weather forecast. Usually the meterologist will mention if fog is expected the next morning. If you are not able to watch the weather then just keep an eye on the weather itself. If you notice fog one morning and the weather appears rather stable then fog may appear the next morning as well.

The weather is unpredictable and may be difficult to plan for. To ensure a successful fog photo, take the time to scout for locations that might give you the breathtaking image you are looking for. The opportunity to capture that foggy image does not last very long. If you wait until the fog is in place and the light is perfect but you have to spend time locating your camera, setting up the tripod or driving to the location you picked out, you will lose the opportunity to capture your image. Plan ahead. The perfect fog photo is waiting for you.
